Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Yemen
With our help the German Embassy in Yemen worked with the Tunisian singer Karim Sfaxi and Japanese laptop artist Tomoki Ikeda from Nomad SoundSystem for a three week Hip-Hop Workshop „Common Beats“, recordings and four concerts with the young Yemenite participants.

Foundation Bauhaus Dessau
The historic Foundation Bauhaus Dessau asked us to help them in program planning for their Colour Festival the third time. We recommend Pushkin Boom Beat and DJ D.B.A. feat Adams & MC Sufferah for the 9th white Festival.

The biggest BMW car dealer in Europe is located directly in front of the Olympia Stadium Munich. They choose Didges Brew to make the Australian and Brazilian fans dancing together at the Soccer world championship 2006.

Gnawa Impulse
On 12th of October, Gnawa Impulse, Cross Culture Music and Radio Multikulti presented a long awaited event: The CD release party of the Gnawa Impulse – ritual breakbeats – virtual trance fusionproject and the band´s live debut at the Kesselhaus of the Kulturbrauerei. We were as well able to welcome invited guests in a separate Lounge, serving drinks and moroccan food in a chilled out oriental setting.

Asia-Pacific-Forum Berlin e.V.
For the opening of the market of Asian Pacific Cultures on 14th of september 2001 CCM, with the aid of Singha Beer, were celebrating a big Party at the BKA Luftschloss, Schlossplatz in Berlin Mitte. For this occasion DJ Osmani Soundz (from Talvin Singh´s Anokha, London) was invited to line up with Berlin asian breakbeat pioneer DJ Shazam!. In this very night a wide musical range from asian pacific cultural regions to Europe was covered. The wave reached all senses: from London´s Club interpretations of indian roots to delicious pacific food, Didgeridoo Breakbeats and southindian Bharatanatyam Dance.

Cross Culture Music was responsible for the line up of the program for the finishing Party of the Asian Pacific Weeks at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.

4th Perleberg-Festival for Folk, Song and World Music
In 2001 CCM could support the sequence of events of the 4th Perleberg Festival of Folk, Song and Worldmusic, supplying a total of five different bands for the stages.

Cross Culture Session
Since september 2001, CCM together with David Roman Drums organizes the by now almost legendary Cross Culture Session at the Ambulatorium of RAW Tempel in Revalerstr.99 Berlin. This bi-weekly musical gathering is thought to regulary offer international and local musicians a presentation stage, an opportunity for exchange and common growth in the global language that is music. Welcome to the Sessions are musicians of all stylistics, all countries and all levels.

Fete de la Musique Berlin 2001
For the Fete de la Musique 2001, CCM organized two complete stages. The first on Oranienplatz together with Kuchenkaiser and Radio Multikulti as media partner and the other in Kinderzirkus Cabuwazi. Alltogether 11 Bands and 5 DJs were involved.

Helping Hands
On the 9th of may, CCM „Helping Hands“ organized a benefiz party with concerts and DJs for the victims of the earthquake in India together with DJ Shazam! and Deli Berlin. We could hand over the sum of 10.000 DM to the „Deutsches Rotes Kreuz“.

Club Commission
Since April 2001 Cross Culture Music is a member of the Club Commission Berlin, the union of club venues, organizers and agencies in our city.

Australian movie days in Görlitz
For the australische Filmtage (australian film festival) in Görlitz, CCM organized workshops and a concert for the closing event. (2001)

At an event of the SAS-hotelchain in Hotel Steigenberger for the ITB Berlin, Cross Culture Music arranged the musical program for the hotels executive personnel from all over the world.

Babylon
November 2000 onwards b-flat (Berlin/mitte) will transform from a normal jazz dive into a meeting place for musicians who have landed in Berlin from around the planet, with an aim to set free new soundz, tell stories and exchange languages and ideas with fellow travellers.

Kunsthof Glindow
In the frame of the Intercultural Project-days CCM organised an Indian theme-day with concert, catering and workshop. Australia and Afrika (to the same theme) will be following in November and December 2000.

Asia-Pacific-Forum Berlin e.V.
At the autumn-festival from the Asian Pacific Forums on 16.10.2000 in the Deutsche Bank’s Atrium building CCM was given responsibility for the complete Stage Programme inluding concerts, south indian dance and the stage technic.

Diaspora Weltmusik Festivals 2000
CCM took part in organizing some concerts within the Diaspora Worldmusic Festival 2000.

Fete de la Musique Berlin 2000
In the course of this event CCM organized the stage programm at the Weiber – Wirtschaft, Anklamerstr. 38 in Berlin. Seven bands of the existing artists pool and the Cross Culture Orchestra presented the audience six and a half hours of music from all over the world. The band PESHKAR played also at the opening ceremony in the Tempodrom am Ostbahnhof. (21. June 2000)
